Dr Obrist was one of the representatives of ERC holders at the World Economic Forum in Dalian, China from 9th to 11th September 2015.
Workshop Panelist @ WorldHaptics’15
Dr Obrist was speaker at the workshop on I'HaXD - Haptic Experience Design' at the 2015 IEEE World Haptics Conference in Chicago on 22nd June.
Closing Keynote @ TVX’15
Dr Obrist gave the closing keynote on “Multi-Sensory Media Experiences” at the International conference on interactive experiences for television and online video (short ACM TVX) in Brussels on 5th June.
Honorable Mention Award @ CHI’15

Our paper “Emotions Mediated Through Mid-Air Haptics” (by Marianna Obrist, Sriram Subramanian, Elia Gatti, Benjamin Long, Thomas Carter) has received a SIGCHI Best of CHI Honorable Mention Award (5% of all submission to CHI 2015). The work was presented on 21st April in Seoul, South Korea. [Paper]
